Need help in deciding on a new TV -I understand a little about LCD and LED but have no idea about PLASMA.Would very much appreciate advise on the various types

With far from perfect eye sight I was unable to see a great difference in the display.So price and reliability are important. :)

One point ,of the LG models I was shown,the only one with a USB was the plasma.
