Anyone Fly 12go Lately? Have They Cleaned Up Their Act?

Featured Replies

Friends of friends who had worked for them a few years ago warned us against flying them, this about a year before the big crash in Phuket. So, have they improved their training, safety standards etc? Anyone fly them regularly?

I very much doubt that Udom has changed his mentality.

There is no change in the info on pprune.

I think Bonnie would be the best person to ask.

I certainly would never use them.

The Sunday video says it all.

Sorry for my ignorance but is there any connection between 12Go and 12Call .

My assistant and I flew them to Chiang Mai last week. Besides some initial problem in ticketing, they were ok. Landing in CM was a bit rough but otherwise no problems - smooth travel.

No. 1 2 Calls real name is AIS.

They are cheap, but I value my neck over a savings of a few hundred baht. hmmm..

doesn't seem like they are flown much by the TV crowd :)

Why would anyone even consider them? Same owner same business model. They cant be in good shape as they are cutting routes & have even tried to form some kind an alliance with Bangkok Airways who thank goodness told them to go away. At least Nok & Air Asia are operationally competent and have some kind of ethics, but I have been able to fly Thai for much the same prices.

the -rumoured- source of the crash-and also the rumoured reason for the EU to ban this airline-were the Indonesian pilots-said to have bought their exam in stead of passing them. How the interious looks or how old planes are does not have too much to do with that. But then many people rather look at minor details and not at the main source. Apparently these guys have bee sacked-so it should be considered safer. Would still be my last choice if NOk or A-A have alternatives.
