yawg
Hi, I'll be flying to Bangkok on December 2nd with a bicycle in a carton box. I have to leave the box at the airport and will be cycling in Thailand and Cambodia for six weeks. When I fly back I will need another box. These carton boxes are used to ship new bikes to the dealers so they are obsolete after unpacking the bikes. I would like to know where I can pick up such a box to use for my return flight from Bangkok. Do you know any (big) bicycle dealers in Bangkok where I could ask for one? It would be great if they have internet so I could contact them easily. Thank you. Kind regards, Jörg.
Mr Conrad
Not sure if they will help you or not, try contacting http://www.probike.co.th/index.php Only problem I can see is that people can get money for the cardboard, so it may cost you something ??? There are a few threads in the sports and hobbies forums on Thai visa relating to other cycle shops in BKK, check them out. Hope it helps some. Best Regards Mr Conrad
Sweet Dreams
Contact Jason at www.grasshopperadventures.com he will be able to advise you. Grasshopper are a proffessional bike tour specialist, and they have a bike shop and technicians near Khao San Road, Bangkok. They would be very interested to hear about your proposed trip too. Cheers and Good Luck
