I just heard that ThaiVisa member Wallacern (Mike) died of cancer on 21st October and was cremated at wat Jang, Bang Saen on 24th October.

Mike was an active shortwave radio amateur with Thai callsign HS0ZHS. He was living in Bang Saen with his Thai wife, but I first met him a few years ago when he came to visit me at my Phuket hotel where I had my own amateur radio station.

I saw Mike about 2 months ago in Bangkok when he attended the radio club meeting. Although physically weak, he was still very cheerful.
