does anyone out there have any idea if it is possible to apply for a shvengen visa from the uk ,my thai wife has a 2 year visistors visa, with 6 months remaining , can i apply for shvengen visa form the uk or must it be done from her country of residence , any sound advise appreciated

I am pretty sure it must be in the country of residence, which makes sense as an interview, though unlikely, may be required.

Just one point, she applies for her visa not you.

If she is in Thailand and has a UK Visa it's very quick and easy and almost guaranteed.

No visa is guaranteed several embassies here are fairly strict.

And as she is only on a visitors visa she must apply in her host country.
