philliphn
Thier is always the possibility of Laser Surgery. Failing that. Their are many really good prosthetics for replacing one leg. My condoloences to his family.

philliphn
Let me elaborate on the Laser Surgery option. I have a close family member who is about to face this same situation. He is in his middle 80's. He has narrowing in both arteries in his legs. One of the recommended options by his MD in the USA. Is to go to Germany where their is one of the worlds best surgeons for the Laser surgery that he needs. If this does not work, he will likely face amputation of both his legs. This is a very hard thing for any one to under go. Not to mention a man of his age.
