Khao Yai National Park

Featured Replies

Okay, I know there are group tours to Khao Yai National park but I'm a loner

I'm looking for information such as:

What ways can I get there (I don't drive), air conditioned bus? Private Driver?

I heard there is a lodge there w/ running water, etc.? Does anyone have a link?

Most importantly, I want to hire a private (some English speaking) guide/park ranger who can shuttle me around for a day to take photographs.

If anyone has any helpful links (most I have googled suck) and/or contacts withing the park or travel agencies please let me know.

I go there almost every week. If you want to go for the day, give me a (PM) shout and I will drive up and show you every where I know and have been. That will give you a good idea what is there and what choices you will have if you want to stay longer the next time. I must have over 500+ Khao Yai photos on visualthailand.com

The weather now is perfect to go. I try to avoid weekends there due to traffic and/or crowds.
