was getting trouble accessing my remote work email with MS explorer so switched to Firefox and actually quite like it...

Tried Chrome as well but that kept crashing , anyway think Google are getting too "big brother" like MS who have recently hijacked my desktop with question if my copy is genuine !!, so i'll be sticking with Firefox ..

Good for you. Before you know it you will be using Open Office, and Thunderbird as well :)

It always pays to try the competition even if you don't like it and revert it will keep M$ on their toes, and when it is free what have you got to lose?

Do people still use M$ to refer to Microsoft? Thought that was so 90's.

If you customize firefox with some plugins it will be completely impossible to move to a new browser. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

You could give a shot to Safari too. It's based on Webkit (like Chrome) which renders faster than Gecko (Firefox). Safari doesn't give you the plethora of plugins that Firefox has, but personally I like my web browser raw - with no plugins.

I really like Safari. If it wasn't such a memory hog, I'd be using it more on a regular basis. Still, Firefox with all the add-ons is hard to beat though.

I too like & use Safari.... It does not eat words as you type in Gmail... as does Explorer...some times, that was very annoying!

It also does a spell check as you type... underlines the mistyped word... They do say it's the fastest browser... no complaints with speed there either....

Just downloaded the 3.6 (beta) version today... As fast as the previous one and several addons -no more usable with 3.5- are compatible again. :D

One black spot: I've got now a -very- minimalistic facebook page through bookmarks. :)

Firefox also has dictionary packs available here with the same features mentioned above. Now if onlyI could find a cure for my Dyslexic keyboard that mixes up the letters as I type :)

But no Thai
