Thai Airways Laptop Policy?

Featured Replies

Travelling London-Bangkok on Thai, is a laptop considered additional to carry on luggage or is it included in the one piece of luggage weighing no more than 7kg rule?

I can confirm that on my two recent flights, Sep and Oct, I boarded with a small backpack and my laptop no problems.

Do airlines that allow an additional laptop also allow a small bag to carry it in? And, if yes, can you put other computer peripherals in that other small bag?

Sorry to be anal but I am increasingly needing to pack up tight against my allowances on my regular trips back having just moved here - the list of preferred falang goods (from TW as well) grows and grows.

Yes the laptop, bag, peripherals and anything else, within reason, that fits in the bag is okay.

Yes, you get one carry on and one "personal" bag.

In my wife's case, she had a full carry on bag, a laptop case, and a purse.
