Pattaya, November 6 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police Officers working in the Undercover Unit held a press conference to announce the arrest of a Pattaya Police Volunteer who was caught selling class 1 drugs. He was arrested at the JV Place Apartments in Soi Beokeow during a covert operation and was found to be in possession of 14 Yabba Tablets. Khun Samlan aged 41 was taken back to Pattaya Police Station where records indicated he began his volunteering with the Tourist Police back in 2004 but had his ID Badge taken away following allegations he stole a two-way radio from a fellow volunteer while on duty on Walking Street. He then joined the Pattaya Police Volunteers and was caught with his ID Badge, two way radio and handcuffs during the operation. Khun Samlan has been charged with dealing in a class 1 drug and remains behind bars pending a court appearance.
