Off subject bit just got a iphone and how do i stop it connecting to the internet every press of the button After topping up with 100bt i ended up with 26bt after 1 day without calling anyone or unknowingly usinfg the internet? This has come up a few times now. Go to settings, and 1 - Turn off Notifications 2 - Turn off all automated email checking in the email settings. Set it to manual for all accounts. After that, the phone will connect to the internet only when you use the web browser or check email, or do anything else that requires internet access.
