This guy is predicting the EU may crumble because of this crisis.

Then each country would be free to create their own immigration policies and not be dictated by EU heads.

It never does until it hits you (like walking on street and someone slashes your throat) but then it's too late.

The EU and the rest of Europe will not 'crumble'. It will be forced to adapt.

The welfare state will be restricted. This includes areas like free housing and free medical care.

There will be a shift in wealth distribution. The redistribution of wealth from wealthy to those claiming benefits may stop or reverse. Society will become less equal.

There will be an unofficial apartheid-type delineation of residential areas. This is for people with no money including immigrants and this area is for those with money.

Security will increase in response to crime increasing due to immigrants from lawless countries and income inequality (see above). This will take the form of private security around housing estates and harsher police action and tougher sentencing at courts.

In short, Europe will move towards more of an American model of society in many ways.

Not really. There's much bigger plans as long as muslims and left work together. We will see which one wins, communism or islam.

The EU won't crumble over illegal immigration. Shengen might need to be updated, or if necessary eliminated. Remember free movement, a cornerstone of the EU, is for citizens of 'member states' - not just anyone who is in Europe. Border checks within the EU might be necessary again. Jacob Rees-Mogg is a British Establishment Conservative and a long-time critic of the EU.

It also appears that the EU has called an emergency meeting to discuss the Ceuta incident. I have no idea what they intend to discuss but all these doctors and engineers are going to need housing post haste. Just imagineì how difficult it will be to find Halal trained chefs (is that a thing?) to prepare the delicious, culturally appropriate meals on such short notice. Yes, but this is Jacob Reese-Mogg. Son of William, the former Times editor who was famous for his rabid hatred of all things European, and Germans in particular. Jacob essentially suckled on anti-Europe hatred as a child, and he uses any incident to further his well known agenda of Little Englander Nirvana. Easy to do when you syphon off billions in the tax havens as Jacob Rees Mogg has done. But I wouldn't put much stock in his analysis of Europe. Ceuta has seen these incidents before. It won't be the end of Europe by far and not the end of the EU either. Hopefully it will be the end of the left wing idiot regime in charge in Spain.
