You may need to check with some importers of food like Colibri or Choice Food etc.

They might be able to help as they import frozen foods from BKK all the time.

Just ask them to put a few kilo extra in. It will cost you a small amount I would guess.

As dry ice needs to be kept at a ridiculously low temperature I wouldnt think any of the refridgerated trucks going to Samui could transport it. As there is no specialist industry on Samui using dry ice then they wouldnt bother sending a specialist freezer lorry down there that could cope with it.

In the US, the relevant law defines a dry ice bomb as: "any sealed device containing dry ice (CO2) or other chemically-reactive substances assembled for the purpose of causing an explosion by a chemical reaction."

You want dry ice for what, exactly?

Dry Ice doesn't need to be transported; you can transport the liquid CO2, which is self-cooled by evaporating off some of the liquid. You could try and ask at a place you get welding gasses and the like...

There is now a dry ice shop on Sanam Bin Road close to the airport. It is not referenced yet on google map. The phone number is 084-5584357.
