Rainy Day Mobile Phone Misbehaviour

Featured Replies

Hi.

Weird stuff the last two days. Me phoning people who can't hear me but I can hear them OK. Then the same thing but with a guy in his car and it was OK ten minutes later. And my friend who lives 2k away had no problems with my call.

I put the same SIM card into three different phones and it was the same in all cases.

To my tortured brain this indicates something flaky with the cell towers and the rain ??

Anyone else been experiencing the same thing? I'd feel more smug if I thought it wasn't only me!

And any explanations about what might be causing this?

Thanks in anticipation,

Rob

Yes i have too Mate but i thought it was the new Phone i bought yesterday... :)

Relived to know it might not be the new Phone..

Atmospherics interrupting the airwaves, probably caused by the storm conditions. Affects satelite TV sometimes, so I'm told.

you're lucky if that is all you get, my phone calls regularly get routed through the koh phangan dtac tower on their way to my next door neighbors phone.

in bang por.
