Hey All,

I had to show proof of leaving Thailand in order to get my visa in Nepal.

Air Asia is having a sale starting in Feb. I got a flight from Pattaya to Ho Chi Minh city for like $25. At that price it was worth getting even if I don't use it.

:D Pattaya have no airport and AirAsia don't fly Si Racha or U-Tapao :D

you want say Suvarnabhumi - HCMC?

Yes AirAsia is a solution, I bought in June 09 10 round ticket for ca. 400 $ at all to all neighbour countries incl. Clark (close Manila). What I want say that you don't flight to HCMC or Ha Noi is a pitty, you miss a real nice thing :)

Dollars US now that I do the conversion I realize it was more like 1000 bhat (approx). Sorry guys/gals I just whipped this one off in a hurry. Anyway you can check the rates in any currency you want on their site. I'm going to do better fact checking from here on out.

The low cost was a very pleasant surprise that I wanted to share with others which was my basic point. Very cheap fights sale right now.

Are you being obtuse?

Living in Thailand using Thai baht it is very confusing when people give prices in $....

I booked a hotel here in Thailand with my Thai credit card about 3 years ago 4star on a website that showed the price in THB @ 970 baht per night, yet the money was taken out in US $ with all the exchange and conversions the actual price taken from my card was almost 1,300 baht per night.... yes it did say the money would be taken in US$... but NOT that it was over 300 baht more...

Next time I asked 1st... different place different website turned out they took the money in AU $.... now if I book online I make sure it is Thai and all transactions are in baht.

On the OP post it did not say if he was from the USA, AU, HK, Singapore or any other...... Websites like Air Asia have 'Currency' at the top so you can put in what currency you want..... There are 6 Countries using the $ on Air Asia.
