Internet Problems Today?

Featured Replies

Anyone having worse-than-usual internet speeds today? My CSLoxinfo connection works well for Thaivisa, but accessing sites in the US is timing out 90% of the time.

No problems in Pattaya, TT&T Maxnet Premier.

No problem using Cslox in BKK (Nonthaburi) so far - it gets sometimes a bit slow after 4pm

I'm having the same problems today. It was just as bad yesterday. I phoned Loxinfo and we checked via speedtest.or.th and saw that the connection was normal. When I use speedtest.net I see that it's really bad. The problem is therefore not with Loxinfo or in my telephone line but somewhere in the backbone I presume.

Yeah I'm getting my normal (2.4 MB) download speed as measured with speedtest.thaivisa.com as well. So I don't think its a local problem at my end.

CsLox here in Laem Chabang is working just fine.

Seems to have improved now, I can open things again although its a bit slower than usual.

You must be in Chiang Mai, I'm in CM and it was slow all day

Several hours of severe problems in Jomtien TOT this evening. All better now.

True Pattaya OK

ToT in Bangkok near Jatujak was down most of last evening. Apparently I wasn't the only one affected as their operators were all busy. I'm sure their technicians were "working to improve the service" just like they always are. I always ask when are the improvements going to happen and get the telephone equivalent of a blank stare. It would be funny if I weren't paying for high speed but for Thai websites only, what a joke. :)

No Internet problems today or yesterday in Nonthaburi , I'm using TOT Platiniumcyber but not using TOT DNS.

I am using OpenDNS instead.
