Holiday Abroad For Thai Wife Living In Uk

Featured Replies

Hi there

just after some quick advice if poss. After Christmas I was thinking of taking my Thai wife who is in England on a ILR visa to Jamaica. Now I was wondering if anyone had any experiences of obtaining a visa for there or had tried and failed . Basically we want to go on holiday somewhere hot and somehwere we can book now and hopefully not need to worry about not getting a visa. Hope you understand what I am getting at and any help would be appreciated. If you think of any other more suitable options please share your opinions

thanks

According to their web site she will need a pre approved visa.

Cuba is an attractive alternative. No visa required (nothing stamped in your passport) and instead you get a "Tourist Card" which costs only GBP15 and seems to be issued more or less as a matter of course. Last time I took Ee Gaae (to Havana and Varadero), our Tourist Cards were included in the package and she was not even required to sign an application form.
