I am about to apply for an extension based on retirement to my non-O visa. My wife and I are both from the US. I have had the 800k Baht in the bank for more than two months (my name only) and will have the bank letter, copy of passbook, TM7 form, and photos. My two main questions are: do I need to copy ALL of my passport or just the relevant pages relating to coming and going from Thailand (I have more than 50 pages with stamps in my PP)? In terms of registering my wife as a dependent, do I do that at the same time, and what forms are needed? The TM7 does not appear to ask for that information.

Relevant pages to include Data page, visa page and entry page plus departure card. Have proof of address and simple map there.

After you obtain the one year extension of stay your dependent can take a copy of your passport/proof of relationship and obtain a non immigrant O visa from a Consulate in Laos/Malaysia or wherever (if not on a non immigrant O visa entry now). And then extend stay as dependent (another TM.7 and documents).
