orang37
A few times in our lives we have had fun playing Santa Claus (and being paid for doing so). The best time was at Nordstrom's on Union Square in San Francisco around 1983 or so. Turned out that most of the "kiddies" that wanted to sit on Santa's lap, and have their picture taken, were lovely young women who were temporary employees during the Christmas rush : delightful ! Put an extra dollop of gusto into our ho-ho-ho's Do you know that if you belly laugh more than about fifty times per day, it is almost impossible to feel depressed at Christmas time ? Of course, depending on where you ho-ho-ho, your neighbors may not share your good feelings. Just wondered if any of you might have a Santa outfit in the closet next to the leather and spandex outfits. thanks, ~o:37; Edited November 30, 2009 by orang37
bluweyze
there are Santa suits for sale in Makro, not good quality but not expensive
eek
^ was going to say the same blueweyez. Orang, you could "jazz" the cheapo outfit up a bit (or get someone to) by stitching some white fluffly piping over the plain flat white lining on the Makro suit. You may also have to wear a red t-shirt underneath if you wish to do a big bellied santa, as i dont think the marko suit would accommodate that. If you add some black cheapo welly boots (or even some high black socks would do) and a big black belt i think you would be sorted. But, not sure if they provide the beard though. Edit: Hmm...maybe add some yellow too. Cant have Santa being accused of political involvement. Edited December 1, 2009 by eek
