Featured Replies

Hello guys i would like to know do i need to paid for request wheel chair or its free at the airport because my travel agent in bangkok told me the air line need a letter from the doctor for what reason i request wheel chair my situation i Have only One Legg so i have to paid or not first i never paid for wheel chair but its a different air line Thanks All

I flew Thai a year ago from Aus and they had a wheelchair waiting at the door of the a/c on arival, no charge.

They took me straight to the taxi rank...... it's a bloody long way from the a/c to the taxis. :)

No Dr's letter required, it was done thru the Aus travel agent.

Are you outgoing or incoming?

Which airline?

I jarred my back in the taxi en route to BKK airport, and the Thai staff asked me at every point whether I needed a wheelchair (I was hobbling a bit). If you want some piece of mind, then call your Thai Airways office before flying and explain, and you'll have a wheelchair waiting for you.

Good luck and enjoy the Land of Smiles

A69.

I'm a bit concerned how you will be met at Swampy.

ie; how will you get from the taxi to the check in counter?

I suggest very strongly that you call Thai Airways to find out.

Do not leave it until too late.

Good luck. :)
