DBD to Investigate 27,000 Thai Nominee Businesses in 2025
I'm a bit confused as to why this particular headline along with possible problems for house owners is giving you so much joy. Envy is an extremely unpleasant emotion, didn't anyone tell you that? -

Rachel Reeves Under Fire: Career Claims Spark Controversy
Bookmark it if you like. Rachel from the customer complaints team with her anti-growth policies will ensure it happens. Economics 101 (obviously the class she skipped out on) is very clear that you cannot tax your way to growth. My next prediction is that when growth does not happen, Labour will be back for more taxes, inhibiting growth even further. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
Agree one hundred percent. But, why the new conclusion -- this gift exemption from income taxes has been in limbo for ages...... Some new information -- or just enlightenment.? Anyway, common sense (that annoying tie breaker term) says: No difference, if assessable income is sent to Thailand, and the receiver is: 1. My bank account. 2. My wife's bank account. 3. My GF's bank account.4. Real estate agency, for purchase of new condo. 5. Society for the saving of soi dogs. Blah, blah, blah. Yeah, it might be a gift -- but that's irrelevant to source of remittance -- and related tax bill. This subject attracts a lot of energy. And the logical answer annoys a lot of folks looking for an angle. But, hey, go ahead and believe you see a grey area -- and file your tax return accordingly. Probably will get away with it -- and if you really see a grey area, you can sleep comfortably, believing you're not a tax evader -- should you have any morals regarding taxes. -

Problem with constipation at 82.
Well I've taken your advice, saw the gastro doctor this morning and have an appointment tomorrow for colonoscopy and the other one where the camera goes in through the mouth. Have to get thoroughly purged this afternoon, two lots of laxative to take and have to drink 2 litres of water both times. Drinking 4 litres of water over 2 hours will be tough for me. -

Trump Selects Johns Hopkins Surgeon Makary to Lead FDA who argued against COVID lockdowns
I would strongly suggest that Americans who are unhappy with the disasterous outcome of the Covid pandemic look at the death rate per head of population and compare their figures with countries that had scientific backed management stratergies like mask mandates, isolation, social distancing, lockdowns, travel restrictions and vaccination programmes. Trumps "no idea" (BS) it will go away in a few weeks and his other childish and uneducated claims resulted in hundreds of thousands of unnessesary deaths and many more citizens still suffering today from them falling victim to the wild conspiracy theorys that should have been put down and debunked before they became the norm for the uneducated. Statistics don't lie.
