Parking Near Grand Palace Bangkok

Featured Replies

I am bringing relatives from UK into Bangkok later this month using a 'commuter' minibus. I want to find somewhere to park within reasonable walking distance of the Grand Palace/Wat Pho. I will be coming over the bridge from Route 4 into Thanon Prajadhipok and left into Thanon Chakpet, or so Google Earth tells me! I don't mind paying to park but any indoor parking must have headroom for 'van'.

Any ideas would be gratefully received, especially if they can be deciphered by a guy from 'down country' unfamiliar wiht driving in Bangkok; I usually use taxis!!

:)

I will watch this topic as I too would like to know.

I live in BKK part time and up north part time, anytime I go the Wat pho or grand palace I leave my car at home and take a taxi as I can never find a place to park. Parked there one time and had to move by 3pm and it was still a good walk to the temple.

Hope someone knows a good place.
