Transfer Times

Are you travelling on an international Thai flight, if so you will of course have to factor in time for clearing immigration in Bangkok.

You can save a bit of time by checking in on-line for your Air Asia flight and printing your boarding pass but if you have bags to check you will have to hope that they have oppened the bag drops early enough, they don't always.

As rheinwise says you should be ok but be prepared for a little nail biting as there some elements out of your control.

You will have to walk to Immigration, wait in line (a lot of early AM arrivals from Europe), clear Immigration, wait for your bags, clear Customs, go up to level 4, check in with Air Asia. Maybe if your flight arrives 30 min. early you can make this connection. I think Air Asia recommends a 2 hour MCT at BKK. Take a later flight. (Oops, looks like there is only 1 flight per day.)

TG has a flight departing BKK at 13:40.

Thanks for your replys all.

The final result after posting on the Isarn forum is......................................................

We are most likely getting a cab all the way there. The cost is the same though of course its slower at least its certain ( if the driver is awake and sobber )
