Hi everyone I'm newbie on this forum and would like some advice on thai airways.

I'm book for this xmas from london to bangkok on thai and have pre booked the central bulkhead seats on thai airways 744 in economy.

my question is on seat guru it says it has a slight restrictions in legroom but from memory on my last TG flight 3 yrs ago i'm sure i remeber otherwise and u can stretch your legs onto the wall?. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Any advice given is very much appreciated.

Thank u

IME with TG, which is not especially recent, they usually keep these seats for parents needing to use sky-cots hanging off the bulk-head. I would therefore recommend avoiding that part of the cabin, unless you yourself are travelling with a rug-rat, which is something many of us endure for a few years.

Being a 6 footer I avoid the bulkhead seat every time. I find the bulkhead wall make its very uncomfortable for me. At leat with a seat in front I can shove my feet under the chair in front

Adding another twist, if there is people checking in with children ( cot age ), they get preference over any booking.

Why don't you contact them & try to get an exit door seat, but make sure you get the aisle one, as the one near the window has restrictions from the door itself.

If you get to LHR earlish and ask to see the flight manager you stand on getting a exit seat BUT its near to the WC so can be busy/noisy/smelly and its also cold from the door, I now prefer a normal asile seat so I can stretch under the seat in front - I would avoid bulkhead tbh - a thai normal economy seat is pretty good imo but no seat tv - just buy a video ipod

Talking about legs room, what is the alternative, taller people have?

I find it hard to flight with Thai, the entertainment box just under the seat.

I flew Jetsar (starclass) once between Bangkok / Melbourne, I do not like this airline but the seat where ok.

easy to answer this.

You cannot prebook bulk head seats.

I woudl say turn up as early as you can, be the 1st in the queu and take your pick of the seats but as already stated they reserve then for babies etc.
