Thai Govt' Blocks CNN, Yahoo Finance, Facebook And Other American Sites

I forgot , 3bb in ChiangMai , Mozilla Thunderbird is unable to retrieve e-mail from yahoo.ca , Gmail ok. Have been trying to reconfigure Thunderbird but it's not able to get the settings for email imports. On the scale of 1 to 10 this is a 10 for problems. Does anyone have any ideas on alternate ways of retrieving mail from yahoo !!
