Has anyone had the experience where they are looking at flight prices ( A. A.) and after doing a few other things

on the computer, gone back and found that the prices had risen a fair bit ? It happened twice to me.

Once I can understand......I guessed they just put the price up during that 10 minutes. But twice.....it seems a bit suspicious.

It's almost like they have logged your enquiry and know that you are coming back because you couldn't get a cheaper price than the initial quote.....or that they put it up in the hope you will have been befuddled by all the numbers and won't notice the price increase when you return.

Or am I just being paranoid ?

No, you are not being paranoid.  It happens all the time and is based on a very complex computer algorithm which takes into account the number of queries for a flight and then projects that out to the total number of seats on the date of departure.  So two or three queries on one day two months out will effect the price.
