Rimmer Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 In the early hours of Saturday, Police and Rescue Services were called to the scene of a road accident which had just occurred inside Soi 13 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien. The crash involved a motorbike and a car which failed to stop at the scene. The driver of the motorbike, later identified as Mr. Abdul Rahim Al Khalil aged 31 from Oman, was badly injured and rushed to Hospital. As is routine in these cases where injured individuals are unconscious, his valuables were collected and taken into safe-keeping. The Police were called over to assist after a significant quantity of drugs was found. Police Captain Jamlat from Pattaya Police Station counted 50 Yabba Tablets, a significant quantity of Ecstasy Tablets and a quantity of a purple tablet thought to be sleeping tablets. Although unconscious, the man was placed under arrest and is now under Police guard at Hospital.
