December 27, 200916 yr I've been reading this forum for about a year now. Check it most days. It's my impressions that there are significantly fewer posts here than previously. Looking at the big picture, have things improved at the airport, thus the fewer threads?
December 27, 200916 yr I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Had put it down to the world economy and the fact that people just aren't flying as much at the moment.
December 27, 200916 yr Yes it will probably result in more hassle when travelling on international flights.
December 27, 200916 yr I think ALL the forums have been quiet lately, both in number of posts and quality of posts.
January 10, 201016 yr There's nothing wrong with the (not so) new airport IMHO so I would suggest the Mods dumping this thread which was originally to educate all about the clusterf*ck that Suvarnabhumi definitely was when it first opened. There was always the rather partisan 'blame it all on Thaksin' claims that were inversely proportional in volume to the actual problems encountered. No need to have duplicate threads about how wonderful Changi is (ad nauseum). Taxi scams and tourist touts were just as thick on the ground and ultimately avoidable at the 'beloved' old Don Muang airport and it NEVER merited it's own thread.
January 14, 201016 yr OK, there are still not enough decent seating areas airside !! that should crank it up a bit.......or maybe not
