Cheapest Rates To The Uk

Featured Replies

Is it 005,009 or whatever?.It's to a mobile so cannot use Skype.DTEC shop tells me one rate when I make call and look at remaining balance I have been charged far more than advised.

I've always used 009. Can't tell you the exact price but it wasn't very much.

I've found that the CAT Phone Card to be the cheepest way to call the UK. 500 Baht lasts for ages.

Yes I use the CAT card, great value and easy to use and good quality line to. My wife uses DTAC to call the states and its 4 baht a min but to the UK its much higher so we no longer use it and use CAT instead.

Thanks for that,I'll certainly get one.The 009 thing I feel takes the time of day in or something like(probably which way the wind is blowing too).I used it few days ago,no more than two minutes and bingo 100 Bahts from the balance.Suppose the same can happen with the card, but Ill give it a go.

if you go to true at tesco on north road, buy the sim card for 49 baht, put credit on it for 90 baht, then ring u.k. for a baht a minute, direct, no call centre, i ring my sister most days, its so cheap, can buy top up card in any 7/11

i keep mine in a spare phone i have for international calls only or you can swap when you want to ring u.k defy anyone to find cheaper without using skype, cheers

Common knowledge on any network for years that 009/008 are or were around Bt6/7 a minute and 007 was about Bt10 per minute.

Here's an old list of prices from CAT website http://www.contactcenter.cattelecom.com/th...e_rateSep07.pdf

Websites never updated for years but I have not seen the prices change either.

just go to true shop, ground floor, tesco north and ask for international card, was 49 baht, can use it locally as well, you are issued with a new number but i want to keep my original so just use it for international use, so have 2 phones

You can also buy a phone at Tukcom that serves two sim cards within the same phone.

You just use the menu to swap over when you want.
