The Daily News January 4

On January 2 police went to investigate a reported drugging at a hotel in Roi-Et.

They found a 46 year old married teacher still drowsy from the effects of the drug, she had lost 9,000 baht in cash, a pair of gold

earrings, 2 Nokia mobile phones and 5 ATM cards.

From investigations it was revealed the woman had used the internet to meet a Westerner( name withheld), aged 48 and after

chatting for 2 weeks, she felt able to trust him, so she arranged to meet him at Makro in Roi-Et.

They then rented a room at the hotel, the man then persuaded her to drink some beer which was spiked with a sleeping pill.

When she awoke the Westerner was talking on the phone to a woman, he gave her some orange juice after which she fell asleep

again.

Hotel staff said they had seen the suspect get into a blue Hundai registration number กค 2107 Yasothon which drive away.

A Thai woman had checked into the hotel at the same time in room no 18, she had parked the car in front of the hotel room for a

long time before picking up the male suspect. Police believe they were working as partners in crime.

how will she be able to explain that to her husband?

why has someone 5 ATMs in the pocket?

:D A married Thai lady teacher (worthy job but low salary) meeting for an afternoon naughty session carrying large wads of cash and 2 phones :D shame on her something more to this surely?

As for waking up groggy in a hotel after losing large amounts cash - well - welcome to BKK i'm sure its happened to most of the male posters on here :)

I have lost one wallet while groggy in a hotel...

Never thought of reporting it to the Police or papers though :D

This is rather a sad personal story. I hope they catch the guy and hope she is good at explaining things to her hubby.

"Falang dlug me and take me go loom" might work.
