Xp Original Disk

Featured Replies

would it be locked out, or work normally?

Depends.

Does it say OEM anywhere on the XP disc?

Is the 1st computer it was installed on still running with the windows installation?

Your not going to have much joy activating it on 2 computers, I believe what you are trying to do is illegal so the thread should be closed unless there is something you haven't mentioned.

Ya - first one still running - but rarely used. - guess it sounds like a "no".

I have loaded my genuine copy of XP on 6 computers (all my own) no problems at all.

I have genuine loaded on two desk tops and one laptop no problems at all, but I did call the help line and they gave me the right # and downloaded for me online

Do you still support your claim about legality of this thread in light of posts #5 an #6?

Are you nurturing your HappyNewYear hangover here?I mean - you overreaction?
