What Is Tot Doing

Featured Replies

I'm not a pro but I found out that every day at about 15.00 hours my internet slowed down a lot. Trough a program called looklan lan found out that at this time Tot is running ftp protocol on my PC ? Anybody know what this is about ?

You need to explain a little better - TOT can't run programs on your PC. What do you mean?

I expect the OP is saying he has internet service from TOT (or one of it's concessionaires and assumes any unknown program running on his computer was being caused by TOT). From googling there is a program out there called looklan like the OP mentioned but my Norton 360 said the site you download it from had five security threats. Maybe the OP's computer has picked up a virus.

To the OP, do you have a firewall and antivirus software running? Have you run a complete/thorough antivirus scan?

Sorry if Im not clear. I have run virus scan AV free and it showed no virusses. With looklan I found ftp protocol and on the site whois.net it traced the IP back to TOT. Maybe I should buy a "real" Anti virus program?
