Hello All

I will be visiting chonburi/Pattaya area and would lke to take my little boy on a short elephant ride of about 1 hour. I have been to noong nooch in pattaya but the charge silly money for only a 5 minute ride.

I am basicaly looking for the kind of thing that is offered in Chaing Mai but without having to travel all the way up there.

If you could advise on anything lke this in Pattaya/ Chonburi I would be appreciated if you could let me know.

Ayuthaya is a good place to go

Besides seeing some of the best of Thailands history and ruins, you can take elephants rides from 30 minutes on up to your time limit

Very reasonable price

Elephant rides are very bumpy and uncomfortable

I think anything more than 30 minutes might be painful for a child

During the balloon festival last month in Ayuthaya my 10 year took a 30 minute ride and at the end he said very uncomfortable

Elephant Village in East Pattaya do trips through the jungle and is well known/signposted.
