January 16, 201016 yr Just installed homecamera.com on my pc at work. It is free and in beta phase and runs off any webcam. Currently, you can record video or take photos every 1 minute minimum, from your local pc at the location you'd like monitored, so its not perfect. But, for those of us who run businesses and/or need home security there are many options such as motion detection (if you choose) which will email you photos of what was detected. I am waiting for it to become out of beta, because they suggest it will run invisibly. So, if you have a pc always on at work/home you can monitor it remotely and in real time. As I said it's in beta, it lapses, recording 10 second intervals every one minute. After beta this may all change and you can watch real time what is going on at home/work. Its easy to setup a monkey could do it. Cheers Edited January 16, 201016 yr by BillR
