Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O Visa

Featured Replies

Anyone know if I can obtain a Multiple entry non immigrant O visa in KL or Penang.

I am not married to a Thai however do live with my Thai partner and we have a child together.

If this is possible then what documents would I require?

Perth would be the closest Consulate to issue on basis of GF copy of ID card.

If you have paperwork for child being yours a single entry visa could be obtained in KL but probably not multi entry.

Very unlikely.

The only reasons local embassies/consulates issue multiple entries are when being legally married (and having a certain amount of funds in a Thai bank), along with being employed (holding WP valid for at least 8 months).

Is this a new requirement for KL? The WP?

Did not need one for my last multi-entry O based on marriage.

That was over 8 months ago though.

No - that applies to multi entry non immigrant B visa issue.

For marriage KL will want/like to see about 100k in a bank account along with normal copy of wife ID card and perhaps home register. Good to also have note from her asking for visa to be issued (helps prove you are together).

Sorry, badly phrased. Should be legally married OR holding a valid work permit.

As per Lopburi's post is correct.

Lopburi3 was apsolutely right me and my husband just came back from KL last night, would like Non o multi. but couldn't get because our bank account just 50K (even those) still not help the officer asked for book bank and "MUST BE" 100K so people who want to go there and apply for Non-Imm Multiple entry please prepared your account for a 100K otherwise will be felt like us :) but lucky still get single entry for come back to Thailand.

Sorry for your not getting the visa but thanks for the information - previously they were making a number of exceptions but expect they believe the word is out now and will be firm on the 100k amount.
