Bangkok-origin Flight Reservation Websites

Featured Replies

Ok, none of the websites with search engines for flights departing from Bangkok really work at all. Thaivisa, saveflight, and Mox Travel all time out during the reservation process if they work at all. Can someone make a list of websites that work for Bangkok-origined flights?

The homepages of the various airlines are $hit- neither their serach engines or their "promotions" ever work, or they give flights way more expensive than kayak.com

Thanks

How about 12 flight? Or Massic Travel? :)

I find the ITA site very good. This is used by many travel agents and is not slanted toward specific airlines. Need to register; free and never hassles on promotions etc. You find the best flight, get all the ticketing details, then have to go to the airline or travel agency to book it.

I thought the ITA site was good too. However, I recently booked my flight to Toronto on Cathay's website and their fare was 30,000 baht less than ITA.

This is already kind of obvious but it's worth it to check out Travelocity and Expedia.

We spent months on checking all sorts of websites and travel agents and I found a couple fares on Expedia that matched everything else (around 30,000 baht to get to Washington DC with one layover; rates don't go much below that). We ended up flying ANA through an agent because my wife preferred that airline but we could have flown China Air instead, booked online, for essentially the same amount. After flying both carriers the plane and the services seemed about the same; pretty good.
