What happened to the Pig and Whistle web site for booking, emails ect.Could smeone find out for me ?it's on soi7 near the soi8 cut through.Need it for a visit.

Don't know about the web-site, but the P/W is still in the same place on Soi 7., we ate there last Wed. If it's a while since you visited, you'll find the place has had a refurbish, with the old bar redecorated & reupholstered. There's also a second dining room added for non-smokers. The food is just as good as ever. As far as I know, there's still rooms for rent. Hope that helps.

If you go in as a single guy, for a meal, you get shoved into that small section nearest the street now. This after being a regular for years. Also the big-screen TV for soccer seems to have disappeared, there's only little box-TVs high in the ceiling.

So, if it's a meal you're after, go with friends. If it's a meal and watch soccer on a Saturday night, go somewhere else. I have, and found far more congenial company as well.

If your looking for a decent guesthouse why not try chaplins on soi 3. decent size rooms from bout 450 baht. and the food there is very passable. Willie the owner is an excellent host apart from being a QPR fan and always up for a beer or two and there is plenty of bar life up soi 2 and 3. i have stayed there a few times and its always been clean.

I'am told Ma Maison on soi 13 is good but my mate Terry who drinks opposite has yet to get back to me c'est la vie.Roscoe

Was in there tonight (and every time I'm in pattaya). Great grub n grog (well priced and HUGE servings - compared to Bangkok) and my only regret is he refuses to open one up in bkk

i dont reckon his missus Lek would like that to much but as you say the portions are brit style- just could do with a few more ladies to enhance the view while eating and drinking- Nok apart of course
