Not the first time....... had this issue many many times. Drivers installed - and loads " found and installed ready for use" yada yada yada.

The open the crappy PC studio........ and do u think u can connect.......nah. ( USB and /or Blue Tooth )

Look at driver lists under system, no driver errors.........

Guys,

you probably did not read the instructions, install all software and drivers before connecting the phone I have had four samsungs and they work perfect.By the way if phone was connected during insall you have a major problem reformat your hard drive ETC.

Cheers

Nope- installed first, then connected. Whats reformat hard drive "ETC". If it means a total re-format - nogo for sure.

thx

Disable your firewall and antivirus and then connect.

Disable your firewall and antivirus and then connect.

Cheers - tried that. Firewall no problem. running AVG virus programme and it wont let me shut it down....tried everything. turned off all that i could in its menu's - still cant connect. Tried terminating AVG in the ctrl-alt-del menu, everytime u terminate it, then it comes back.........

guess will have to write numbers in a little piece of paper........

thanks

Never had this issue with the O2 or iPhone - only samsung.

Are you running 64 bit as my PC is and Samsung PC Studio doesnt work on a 64bit OS,works OK on my laptop though Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Have you disabled AVG using msconfig? Start > Run > msconfig > Services > untick AVG box > ok > reboot.

Have used that one before to bypass AVG

My Samsung works fine with XP on my notebook.

I use the Samsung usb cable, so no problems with antivirus (Avira) or firewall.

I had a Samsung G600, it was an excellent phone, survived lots of falls cetc , and great pictures. PC studio was useless though. Now I have an Omnia, it pretty much sucks, It was very non-inuitive to learn. Turns off on its own sometimes. You can barely see the screen outside in the daytime.

could it be a copy ?

Ditto have a Samsung and works great with the old computer. :)

I've used nothing but Samsung for 10 years & I love them. I ways buy sliders. I'm on about my 6th one.

Nothing but Samsung. Sync via USB cable. Not a problem. running XP of course.
