January 29, 201016 yr I am overwhemeld by the vast offers, hard to trust. Who has actually done a tour ,or more than one with a good, reliable tour operator? Hotels , good beds, location not far out, Rough idea= Germany (2 weeks own program therefore much flexibility ) plus one or two other countries. Given the fact that EURO is DOWN, could make more sense to book in Europe rather from here ?? ( I got Euros)
January 29, 201016 yr You'd be better off to by a plane ticket to Germany, rent a car, and explore the region on your own.
January 29, 201016 yr Try flying Lufthansa to germany , have a look at Railbookers.com , lots of package deals , reasonable prices, hotel and rail travel , for example 5 cities 12 nights ,paris, berlin ,vienna, amsterdam, and rome or venice, all rail travel and hotels evening meal and breakfasts, we did a 22 day 9 country tour with them 2 years ago was a fantastic experience, but also there are plenty of good care hire offers with a company called Sixt, we always use them too
January 29, 201016 yr Author Try flying Lufthansa , look at Railbookers.com , Railbookers looks very helpful. Did not figured out how to start a trip from e.g. Cologne, all seem to leave from London. You mention LH , guess their business class is too expensive. Do they offer combination of flights plus stay? Or why is LH your choice??
