30 Day Tourist Entry To Thailand-travelling From Uk

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Please can you assist.

I will be travelling to Thailand from the UK on 2nd March 2010 and returning 28th March 2010.

I have heard that I might need to apply at the Thai embassy/consulate before I fly as there are many changes going on regarding visa entry. Can anyone shed some light on tourist visa entry to Thailand for UK nationals.

Many thanks

You can obtain and use a 30 day visa exempt entry as you will have a ticket out within 30 days of entry - didn't you just ask this in another thread? Yes you did. If you lose track of previous posts you can use the drop down menu next to your name to find old ones (or from your profile page).

Thanks for your reply.

I have just heard that this excemption is going to expire on 4th of March 2010. This is 2 days after I will arrive in Thailand.

I might be getting my wires crossed but I dont want to be refused entry so would rather just make sure. Err on the side of caution.

Many thanks slippery

The current free promotion on the issue of tourist visas ends on 4th March. That has nothing to do with visa exempt entry. As already said, as long as you have an air ticket out of the country within 30 days of arrival you will not have a problem.

Thank a million.

I hope that you understand. I just needed to make sure.

Thanks for all of your help.
