stumonster
I quite enjoy reading the letters to the editor in most newspapers as different opinions are a valuable resource. One that made me laugh in the bangkok post had this line in it:- " Yet we run our country like a noodle shop, putting family connections to the fore and only firing our cousins after they've proven their blatant incompetence. " the full letter is here http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/31Oct2003_news39.html I hope this is changing in this country, though not to the full western style of incestuous relationships with big business and governments.. Guest IT Manager
It's interesting to note the increase in letters to the Post, from Thai people. Some even have been supportive of foreigners which was a breath of fresh air to some. That particular one made a very valid point, and his final entreaty to the PM, to run the country the same as you run the company, would take abit to walk away from, in my opinion.
