I would get the wife to contact VFS.

My wife & Daughters applications, we got sms in a matter of hours.

The same day back in the apartment the tracking number was also working, .

You could E Mail VFS They do reply or should I say they used to. I E Mailed them last year when we were waiting and they did reply

As for the tracking No. It should contain Your wife's date of birth. Maybe she has given you the wrong tracking No ?

Good Luck. I doubt you will have to wait 13 weeks. That was the time it was taking around our dates Feb March 2009

Are you checking the tracking page via the Thai VFS web site? https://www.vfs.org.in/UKG-PassportTracking...0FI8SOju2rNnQ==

Last year a friend's wife said she couldn't track her visa application. After checking I found she'd googled VFS GLOBAL to find the web page but then clicked on the first google reply which happened to be VFS GLOBAL RUSSIA! She then saved the tracking page in her favourites so she was going directly to the Russian tracking page each time and of course it didn't recognize her tracking number. The page looks the same as the one for Thailand and the only difference was the series of letters/numbers in the web address, nothing to indicate it wasn't the Thai tracking page.

Thanks Guys

Its all sorted emailed VFS just to check and then before I got a reply my wife recieved a text to say it had been forwarded.

Then I got an email back telling me the person who dealt with her at the VFS office took her date of birth down wrong and thats why the tracking service wasn't working but I got it to work with the new(wrong) date of birth.

also I got my dates mixed up the visa went in on the 5th and was sent to the embassay the same day so i'm not sure why the delay in tex message telling us that.

I feel better now knowing they have it and its under way so hopefully not much longer to wait.

P.S Very happy with response from VFS quick and knew straight away the problem.

Thanks James.
