I don't know much, but maybe someone can help.

Each player is dealt their cards. Each turn you put a card down. Theyre put down face up, and become a sort of "train" so you can see the face of each card thats been put down.

Something happens, & eventually a player gets to/has to pick up the "train" of cards.

You seem to want to get triples (i.e 3 eights). I think you could also get mini straights (i.e 7,8,9). There seemed to be a lot of side betting.

Any ideas?

It's very similar to rummy (don't know if thai have slightly different rules as never played it) and is called funnily enough รัมมี่.

Dont know the game but be carefull cards and betting are illegal, i end up in jail for 1 day just sitting next to it in a bar 5 years ago.

Thanks man. That actually jogged my memory, I was pretty wasted but I vaguely remember them calling it "Dummy" .... maybe they were saying Rummy
