i like the idea of a classified ad section, but one thing i notice thailand does not have (at least not a readable one for me) is an auction site. How about it ?

We actually have an Thaivisa action site setup and running already, but time constraints have hindred me to launch it.

And the web site colors are awful, and it needs some adjustments... But it works great, and could easy be integrated with main website, forum and classifieds!

You are right, green is kinda "iffy" - thats myanmar governemt issue green is'nt it ?

I'd love to contribute to the Administration, community and all, but alas, i dont live in Thailand, and same as you time contraints limit my out of hours activities....

Have you considered asking Ebay to add Thailand to its list of countries? They have a great system in place already.
