Satit: Govt will prioritize national interest in solving national problems

BANGKOK: -- (NNT) – The Thai government is capable of controlling the prevailing political situation as well as the other national problems, adding that Thai citizens would be equally and fairly treated, according to Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, Satit Wonghnongtaey.

Mr Satit stated that the current political upheaval stemmed from certain groups of people who were trying to create a situation, distort information, and eliminate the government's credibility. He, therefore, asked all Thais to understand the situation and avoid acting against the law in order to maintain peace.

Meanwhile, Mr Satit continued by saying that all government decisions will always prioritize national interest and the equality of Thai citizens, stating that all national problems are being solved in the right direction. Mr Satit also made known that the country’s economic crisis had passed its lowest point and was now at a secure level as more foreign investors are more confident and interested in investing in Thailand.

Mr Satit asked the public for their positive cooperation in solving the uncertainty of the political situation and their assistance in enhancing the advancement of the country.

:)

By "current' situation, does he mean the instability and turmoil that has been going on for 80 years and will for the next 100?

Living in the moment might be a good practice in life, but not in politics.

When crocodiles die or get killed, there are always others to replace them. Unless they drain the swamp the 'current' situation will continue to be a 'recurrent' theme.

How many more Thaksin's and Sondhi's will it take before someone realizes it's Playwright, not the Actors creating the story!?

"Mr Satit also made known that the country’s economic crisis had passed its lowest point and was now at a secure level as more foreign investors are more confident and interested in investing in Thailand."

But do not worry because we will make it too difficult for them to invest.

Hmmm.... just a minute ... i am a foreign investor and i sure do not feel confident at all and therefore not interested!

Reminds me of the classroom where the teacher calls on the students for a reply to a specific question (problems in Thailand). First requirement, the response must include a possible solution. Never start with the knowledgeable who forgot the assignment, as the rest of the students may be blinded by the cloud of smoke.

:):D:D:D:D:D

Christ I hope I never have to meet Mr. Satit.

He sounds like the most boring person in the world, and appears to have a wonderful habit of stating the absolutely bloody obvious.
