lis41
Does anyone know of any pubs that will be showing a repeat of this morning's Olympic Men's hockey game, Canada vs. U.S.? and if so, when? thanks in advance.
earlofwindermere
You can catch it online but I also have seen it on ESPN so check with the restaurants/pubs to see if they have it on their satellite. I believe that it is available on UBC. Edited February 22, 2010 by earlofwindermere

earlofwindermere
Canada allowed themselves to be beat. It gives them an extra game to play before getting to the Gold game. Edited February 22, 2010 by earlofwindermere

IanForbes
Congrats to the Yanks who WHUPPED us Canucks at our own game. It truly was "Millar time"! Of course it's hard to get too excited about a bunch of over paid professional athletes playing a game in what is supposed to be an amature event. Jingthing
I never really understood why Americans even cared about ICE hockey. Clearly a triumph of marketing. Hockey in California and the US south? Its absurd. Leave that one to the Canucks and Russkies ... Edited February 23, 2010 by Jingthing
cdnvic
Own the podium, eh? That was idiotic chest pounding. What an embarrassment. Congrats to the US on a well fought victory.

No, you got me wrong. I think the entire nationalistic fervor over sports medals is infantile.

BEENTHEREDONETHAT
You can download the game on kickasstorrents plus a bunch of the winter olympics in vancouver. Then watch it at your leisure as often as you like. Edited February 28, 2010 by BEENTHEREDONETHAT

iSabai
I never really understood why Americans even cared about ICE hockey. Clearly a triumph of marketing. Hockey in California and the US south? Its absurd. Leave that one to the Canucks and Russkies ... Easy, because it's a great game! There are some real hotbeds of hockey in the US. The New England (especially Boston) area, Minnesota, Dakotas, upstate NY, Colorado, and yes (thank you Gretzky!), even California. And some great US players have made a real impact in the NHL: Leetch, Chelios, Modano... I agree though that the NHL's (commissioner Betman's) attempt to make hockey a successful southern US sport was ludicrous. It really is a niche sport, and should have been left that way IMO! Should be a great gold medal game!

canuckamuck
Well it must have been a great game, I hope to see it soon but as I predicted the spoilers were ready and waiting to reveal the results. I think it will still be a bit of a thrill to see it. It seems it could have went either way.
