Has anyone been granted a visa to enter Australia for a period of 6 months to up to one year on a tourist visa

My GF has been here on a 3 month and a 6 month visa with no hassels at all granted same day for both occasions

I have no concerns getting another 6 month visa but i was wondering is it worth the hassel and maybe a chance of a refusal for a 12 month visa

On the application form could she put down applying for a visa between 6 months and a Year?

only 2 types of tourist visa,

short stay = 3 months

long stay = 6 months
