February 27, 201016 yr AOT compensates noise affected residents around Suvarnabhumi Airport at 13.20 mn THB more BANGKOK: -- (NNT) – The Airports of Thailand Public Company (AOT) has given additional compensation of 13.20 million THB to noise affected residents around Suvarnnabhumi Airport. According to the Cabinet’s resolution on 29 May 2007 to reimburse the affected residents living around the airport who were affected by noise emissions, the AOT has expedited the compensation at a total amount of 938.43 million THB. The additional 13.20 million THB had been given to 50 building owners in the area of NEF 30-40, by Mr Somchai Sawadipol, a member of the Executive Board of AOT as the company’s representative.
