We've just bought a Panasonic cordless phone using the 2.4GHz frequency (digital) which is the same as our WiFi router (802.11g standard).

Could there be a problem with interference?

There should be no interference in that you will hear wifi signals while making a phone call, but if they are in close prximity then you will probably suffer reduced range and / or performance on your WiFi
