Yes I downloaded.....first couple of times it threw a message up about being protected - now I don't even know it is there.

I downloaded it, which is unlike me - no problems and if you can't trust your bank who can you trust? *cough*

Yep - same for me. I get a warning if I log into other websites using the same or similar password.

I also downloaded it. Seems fine but can be irritating for tasks that have nothing directly to do with internet banking. For instance if you [CTRL]/[PrtScr] (copy the screen for pasting into a document) from any internet web-page up will pop a 'Rapport says, do you really want to do this - there may be security implications' dialogue box.

The only other thing I recall it interfering in is if you try to save your user-name and/or password on a web-site the dialogue box will remind you that this may not be a good idea from a security viewpoint.

You get the picture? Low-irritation threshold users should avoid!!

I'm pretty laid-back and it is not quite at the level of that Microsoft paper-clip yet, but if it eventually gets to me I'll un-install it.

Royal Bank of Scotland also recommended that I use it.

No problems.

I just logged into my HSBC acct and they didn't mention anything about Rapport. I do however, have to choose whether to log on with a dual password or security device. I'm using the latter.

My experience same as kirmizi...i log on using my username, password and number issued by the security device that HSBC gave me ages ago. Nothing about downloading anything! Does it matter where you opened your HSBC? Mine was in HK.

Mine is also in HK. I believe the security devices are mandatory there.

Hmm, interesting, wonder why they don't role out the concept to the general public because it's a much more secure system, cost, support overhead maybe or perhaps it's to complicated for the average UK customer! :)

I prefer Kasikorn Bank's system of sending an sms and you input the code to confirm your online transaction.
